STORYTELLING
Our initiative has created a platform for individuals to share their experiences with street harassment. This approach recognizes that altering societal attitudes towards street harassment is necessary to bring about lasting change.
Why do we share stories?
Stories have been an integral part of human communication for thousands of years. From ancient myths and legends to modern-day novels and movies, stories have the power to captivate our imaginations, evoke emotions, and impart important lessons and values.
But why do we feel the need to share stories? One reason is that stories help us make sense of the world around us. By hearing about the experiences of others, we can gain new perspectives and insights into our own lives. Stories can also help us connect with other people by providing a shared experience or a common reference point.
In addition, stories can inspire and motivate us. They can spark our creativity and encourage us to pursue our dreams. Stories can also serve as a form of escapism, allowing us to temporarily forget about our problems and immerse ourselves in a different world.
Ultimately, the power of storytelling lies in its ability to bring people together and create a sense of community. Whether we are sharing a bedtime story with our children or discussing our latest experience of street harassment with our family and/or friends, stories can bridge gaps and foster a sense of belonging.
coMMUNICATIONS
We support knowledge-creation processes with a focus on intersectional feminist methods of mutual learning and accompaniment. We will leverage the tools available to us to ensure knowledge sharing.
Our goal is to create a community-driven approach that values diverse perspectives and experiences. We recognize that traditional forms of knowledge production have often excluded marginalized groups, and we seek to challenge and transform these systems. By centering intersectional feminism, we can prioritize the voices and contributions of those who have been historically silenced.
We believe that mutual learning and accompaniment are essential components of knowledge creation. By working together and sharing our experiences, we can build a stronger and more inclusive community. This means actively listening to one another, recognizing our own biases, and being open to new perspectives.
To facilitate knowledge sharing, we will utilize a variety of tools and platforms. This includes social media, online forums, educational resources, and in-person workshops and events. We will also prioritize accessibility, making sure that our resources are available to everyone regardless of their background or level of expertise.
